Technical problems slow businesses down

Most founders don't need more code. They need senior technical judgment, at the right moments.

A great idea, no technical co-founder

You know the business inside out, but nobody on the team can say which tech choices are smart and which will cost you later.

Developers are shipping, but nobody owns the big picture

Architecture, quality and priorities drift. Releases get slower and every new feature breaks something else.

You can't tell if your agency or hire is any good

You're paying for engineering you can't evaluate, and you need someone senior on your side of the table.

Your app is slow, buggy or hard to change

A rushed MVP is now holding the business back, and a full rewrite feels too risky.

You may not need a full-time CTO yet. You need a technical partner who's accountable for the outcome — and that's what I do.

// getting started

Starting is simple

No long proposals or sales calls. Three steps from hello to a working plan.

Step 1

Send me a message

Tell me about your product and your biggest technical challenge. Two minutes on WhatsApp or email is enough.

Step 2

Free intro call

We talk goals, team and constraints. I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit — and if I'm not, I'll say so.

Step 3

Clear plan, then we start

I propose scope, priorities and weekly hours that fit your budget. No lock-in, and you'll always know what I'm working on.

// track record

I started by freelancing for international clients, then joined product companies. A few highlights:

// about me

Hi, I'm Ahmed

I'm an engineer and technical leader with 10+ years of experience. I taught myself software development early, freelanced for international clients, and then moved into product companies where I built and led mobile and backend systems.

Today I work as a fractional CTO and technical partner: part strategist, part senior engineer. I'm based in Cairo, Egypt and work with clients worldwide. Outside of work, I play football as a goalkeeper, follow the markets and love a good movie or game.

Plain-language communication

Technical decisions explained so the business side can actually weigh in.

Business first

I'll tell you when something isn't worth building — or when it's worth building differently.

Accountable

I treat your product like my own, and I stay hands-on instead of only sending slide decks.

// questions

Things people ask first

What tech stack do you work with?

Whichever fits your product, team and budget. Choosing technology is a business decision first, so I don't push a favourite stack — and if you already have one, I work with it.

What does it cost?

It depends on scope and how involved you need me to be, and I keep it flexible to fit your budget. The first conversation is free — contact me and I'll give you an honest estimate and tell you what's worth spending on at your stage.

How much time can you commit?

It depends on what you need — from a few hours a week of advisory to a closer, embedded role with your team. Tell me where you are and we'll shape an engagement that fits.

I'm not sure I need a CTO. Should I still reach out?

Yes — that's exactly what the free intro call is for. If a CTO-level partner isn't what you need yet, I'll say so and point you in the right direction.

Do you write code, or only advise?

Both. I'm a hands-on engineer, so I can review, design and build. I don't believe in advice that's disconnected from implementation.

Do you work with early-stage startups and established companies?

Both. My background spans SaaS and mobile products as well as larger platforms, including work for a major telecom's customer app through iHorizons and the Tradeling B2B marketplace.

How quickly can we start?

It depends on my current commitments — message me and I'll give you a straight answer about timing in our first reply.

// let's talk

Ready to get technical clarity?

Tell me a little about your product. I'll reply personally — usually with a few questions and a clear suggestion for next steps. The first conversation is free and there's no obligation.
